<h3>Free HD TV in the UK</h3>
<p>Free HD broadcasts on BBC, ITV and Channel 4 HD channels will be available along with S4C HD in Wales.</p>
<p>Viewers in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Bradford, Birmingham Cardiff and Swansea will be the first to be able to receive Freeview HD by the end of March 2010.</p>

<p>A new device has been launched by, UK technology company <strong><em>Cello</em></strong>, which enables anyone with a broadband connection to stream TV broadcasts such as those from the <strong><em>BBC iPlayer</em></strong> and <strong><em>YouTube</em></strong> directly to an integrated <strong><em>LCD TV screen</em></strong> without the need for a set-top box, computer or external software.</p>

<h3>Internet LCD TV</h3>
<p>The device can be connected to a standard <strong><em>Ethernet</em></strong> cable or <strong><em>Wi-Fi dongle </em></strong>and will work anywhere where there is a suitable internet connection. The unit also has <strong><em>2 x HDMI sockets</em></strong> to enable external devices such as games consoles and dvd players to be connected. The <strong><em>iViewer</em></strong> can also be connected to a PC or Laptop via Wi-Fi or by cable.</p>
<p>Available with either a <strong><em>26” or 32”</em></strong> display and comes complete with a table stand and remote control unit. The 26” model is HD Ready and the 32” is Full <strong><em>1080p</em></strong> HD.</p>
<p>With the growing popularity of internet TV services this device looks set to be very popular and with the relentless march of technology, led by Google’s YouTube, it might not be very long before internet TV becomes the standard format of TV broadcasting?</p>
<p>The <strong><em>M&amp;S iViewer</em></strong> is manufactured by Yorkshire technology firm <a href="http://www.celloelectronics.com/" target="_blank"><strong><em>Cello Electronics</em></strong></a>. The company is well established and manufactures own-brand electronic products for retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Littlewoods and Office Depot.</p>
